Control Action Details Tab

The Details tab on the Control Action Detail page shows key information and settings that define how the control action works.

View or edit details

  • Name: Unique identifier for the control action.

  • Description

  • Action type: The operation the system performs:

    • Set point change: Changes a device setting, such as turning off a light or adjusting a thermostat.

      When you select this option, the Revert action field appears. Use this field to specify whether the change reverts automatically or remains in effect.

    • CPT reset: Resets alarms based on Calculated Product Temperature (CPT).

    • Schedule change: Updates schedules. For example, you can turn lights on and off at specific times.

  • Schedule action: Specifies whether to schedule the action.

    If you select Yes, enter the Action start date/time.

Email notifications

Use email notifications to help site personnel track control action activity.

  • Enter a comma-separated list of recipients when:

    • A control action requires level 1 or level 2 approval.

    • A level 1 or level 2 reviewer approves or rejects a control action.

    • A control action fails.

    • A reversion fails.

  • Choose whether to notify the site when:

    • A reviewer approves a control action.

    • A control action completes.

    • A control action reverts.
